The first full weekend in June and the Vancouver International Children’s Festival is in full swing so you know what that means (well at least those of you who are parents in Vancouver know)-Rain! I remember sitting under the big white tents at Vanier Park, mud under foot, listening to Fred Penner, Raffi and Sharon Lois and Bram with my kids. It is one of those annual events that never disappoints and this weekend it won’t even matter if it is raining! There is music for big kids as well this weekend– lots of live music happening at local pubs and restaurants. It was so great to be able to add in-person events to this week’s list. Enjoy.
