Walking into Renzullo Food Market on Nanaimo is like walking into a Deli in any small town in Italy (if you have read some of my previous posts you know where I am going to go as soon as I can travel!)
This family-run business never disappoints – from Franco greeting you from behind the espresso machine, the aisles of delicious Italian foods and care the amazing family and staff take in slicing the deli meats and cheese. You feel like you are in another world.
I recently visited Renzullo to buy a gift for my friend who loves good food and found a beautiful balsamic reduction and Sicilian olive oil that were perfect. Franco helped me choose the oil and vinegar, describing each of the options.
I was introduced to Renzullo by my Italian friend, so I knew it was going to be good. It is so great to see a small family business loved and supported by the community.
